We're looking for you: designer

As a designer at Blue World Studio, you are an important decision maker in the design team and help us develop creative concepts and designs for a wide range of interactive content. You will work closely with our tech team and help set the standard for outstanding creative work with us. Our attention to detail is second to none, so you should have a good eye for it and have a high level of conceptual thinking.

The ability to communicate your ideas both verbally and in writing, internally and to customers, is just as important as developing concepts and designs that are not only highly intuitive and appealing, but also solve real business problems. An understanding of strategy, ideation, visual design, and current and emerging.

• Familiarity with Figma and the Adobe Suite and interest in learning new tools. You take over and manage the design process
• Knowledge of animation tools such as Framer, Principle, and After Effects to create prototypes from your designs and make it easy to hand them over to our development team
• Understanding from pattern libraries to comprehensive design systems
• Knowledge of visual design theory (e.g. composition, color theory, typography, etc.)
• Experience with build workflows/tools (Redis, Redux, Webpack, etc.)
• At BWS, we attach great importance to individual attitudes and train our team for the necessary skills. We know that new tools, products, and systems are constantly being created and are always open to trying out new approaches if they increase our productivity, efficiency, and satisfaction. You should be just as flexible and willing to leave outdated systems behind if they no longer benefit us or our partners
• We mostly work with Slack, Jira, and Trello. In this way, we remain structured and optimize our workflow. You too will use these tools on a daily basis to communicate both internally and with customers

• 2+ years of professional experience in start-ups, studios or agencies, which developed first-class interaction design for web and mobile platforms that drives the digital orientation of brands, as well as a portfolio that reflects this
• Excellent knowledge of design processes, methods and principles
• A genuine passion for design combined with a strong understanding of user experience and information architecture
